PRINTS THAT CARE

Taking care of the environment has always been important to me — not only when I’m out on location but also in how my prints are produced. That’s why I’ve partnered with printers who share a commitment to eco-friendly practices. I’m very proud of the steps they take to ensure that every print is made with care, minimising environmental impact and supporting sustainability.

Here are some ways that we ensure that the making of my products doesn’t negatively affect the environment

Paper & Printing
My prints are made on Hahnemühle Photo Rag, a premium 100% cotton rag paper renowned for its environmental and archival qualities. Unlike standard wood-based papers, Hahnemühle’s cotton rag papers are made entirely from cotton linters — a by-product of the textile industry — meaning no trees are cut down to produce them. They are acid- and lignin-free, designed to last for generations while being gentle on the planet.
Hahnemühle leads the way in sustainable production, using green energy and sustainable water management systems.
To complement this, my printers use water-based Giclée inks, which are much more eco-friendly compared to traditional inks.

Framing Materials
For framing, the timber comes from suppliers certified by FSC or PEFC programs, ensuring forests are responsibly managed. These certifications guarantee that trees are replaced or naturally regenerated, biodiversity is protected, and forests are cared for with long-term ecological health in mind. Wherever possible, plastics are avoided in both frames and packaging.

Cutting Down on Waste
Print runs are batched efficiently to minimise waste, and any leftover materials are recycled locally — nothing is thrown away unnecessarily.

Eco-Friendly Packaging
Your prints arrive safely in packaging made from recyclable or biodegradable materials, with no single-use plastics.

Giving Back
Plus, I donate 1% of every sale to carbon removal companies actively fighting climate change, so your purchase helps the planet beyond the print itself.

  • "I ordered 2 photographs from Will to give to my mum and my son for Christmas! One was of a place that is very special for my family. It is beyond magnificent. The other my son chose who is a bit of a space geek. He loves it so much. Will was so professional, kept me up to date with postage etc. I now have the privilege to seeing 2 of his photographs regularly. I highly recommend."

Hello!! 👋

I’m Will, I’m the guy behind the lens.

My photography journey has been a long one and has shaped me into the man I am today. I first started photography at the age of 13 in 2014. The story of how I found my passion began when I was living in Vancouver, Canada, for a short time. I have always been fascinated with nature and, even as a kid, found great solace in it. I began taking myself on walks with my GoPro Hero 3 and iPad Mini, capturing images of different scenes around me. Initially, it was something I enjoyed to ground myself in nature and appreciate the peace of being outside; it gave me a purpose for taking random walks in the forests. Eventually, I started editing and sharing my photos casually, and slowly they began to gain some traction. From then on, photography became a passion of mine that would sometimes waver but never fade. Sharing the way I see the world has always been a big part of that passion and has driven me to build my website and open up my store. I’m always seeking new ways to connect meaningfully with my audience, and one of my favourite methods is through YouTube. I create videos from my perspective of my shoots to not only entertain but also to bring my audience along on my adventures, so they can see the moment I captured a shot that might end up hanging on their wall at home. This has since become a vital part of my passion for photography.
