PRINTS THAT CARE
Taking care of the environment has always been important to me — not only when I’m out on location but also in how my prints are produced. That’s why I’ve partnered with printers who share a commitment to eco-friendly practices. I’m very proud of the steps they take to ensure that every print is made with care, minimising environmental impact and supporting sustainability.
Here are some ways that we ensure that the making of my products doesn’t negatively affect the environment.
Paper & Printing
My prints are made on Hahnemühle Photo Rag, a premium 100% cotton rag paper renowned for its environmental and archival qualities. Unlike standard wood-based papers, Hahnemühle’s cotton rag papers are made entirely from cotton linters — a by-product of the textile industry — meaning no trees are cut down to produce them. They are acid- and lignin-free, designed to last for generations while being gentle on the planet.
Hahnemühle leads the way in sustainable production, using green energy and sustainable water management systems.
To complement this, my printers use water-based Giclée inks, which are much more eco-friendly compared to traditional inks.
Framing Materials
For framing, the timber comes from suppliers certified by FSC or PEFC programs, ensuring forests are responsibly managed. These certifications guarantee that trees are replaced or naturally regenerated, biodiversity is protected, and forests are cared for with long-term ecological health in mind. Wherever possible, plastics are avoided in both frames and packaging.
Cutting Down on Waste
Print runs are batched efficiently to minimise waste, and any leftover materials are recycled locally — nothing is thrown away unnecessarily.
Eco-Friendly Packaging
Your prints arrive safely in packaging made from recyclable or biodegradable materials, with no single-use plastics.
Giving Back
Plus, I donate 1% of every sale to carbon removal companies actively fighting climate change, so your purchase helps the planet beyond the print itself
