Dusk on the Coast
I took this shot while on holiday in Noosa, Queensland. One afternoon I took myself on a photo walk along the famous Noosa coastal walk to scout new locations for a shoot I was planning the next day. I had never explored this coastal walk that much and because of this, I knew I needed to know where to go beforehand by seeing it in person first. I ended up finding a rock beach called Tea Tree Bay after walking for about 30 mins. I saw so much potential in shooting some long-exposure photos of the rucks at sunset and made a mental note of this spot.
The next day I set out with my camera to shoot this composition, I ended up getting there and spending 2 hours shooting this and a couple of other rocks with the waves breaking and the sunset behind it.
I love the calm mood of this shoot and I thoroughly enjoyed this shoot and want to go back to this location to explore more in the future.
